Common side effects
The most common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, and stomach pain. These are usually temporary and improve as your body adjusts to the medication. If these symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Stop and get help if
  • Thyroid tumors: Symptoms may include a lump in the neck, trouble swallowing, or persistent hoarseness.
  • Pancreatitis: Severe abdominal pain, with or without vomiting, may indicate inflammation of the pancreas.
  • Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia): Watch for symptoms like shakiness, confusion, or excessive sweating, especially if you are on other diabetes medications.
  • Kidney problems: Persistent nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea may lead to dehydration and kidney damage.
  • Severe allergic reactions: Swelling, breathing difficulties, or rash require immediate medical attention.
Not for you if
  • Have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC).
  • Have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).
  • Are allergic to semaglutide or any of its ingredients.

What it is

Compounded semaglutide is a GLP-1 treatment made with the same active ingredient as Ozempic® and Wegovy®, compounded here in the Philippines by a licensed partner pharmacy, at a fraction of the branded price. Hunger isn't a character flaw, it's chemistry. Semaglutide targets the GLP-1 signal your body uses to feel full, so the pull toward food eases. And because it's compounded, your dose is personalized to you, guided by a licensed Filipino doctor. Semaglutide mimics a natural hormone that tells your brain you’re full. It helps reduce cravings, slows digestion, and lowers blood sugar — making it (a lot) easier to eat less and lose weight, without extreme diets.

How to take it

One small dose a week, and that's it. No clinic visits. No pharmacy queues. No explaining yourself at a counter. Your treatment arrives with everything you need and a step-by-step guide. You inject once weekly with a very small needle, and most people say they barely feel it. You start low, then you and your &you doctor adjust gradually, at your body's pace, until you find the dose that moves you toward your goal. The whole thing happens from your phone.

The schedule

- Weeks 1 to 4: 0.25 mg weekly - Weeks 5 to 8: 0.5 mg weekly - Weeks 9 to 12: 1 mg weekly - Weeks 13 to 16: 1.5 mg weekly - Weeks 17 to 20: 2 mg weekly - Week 21 and on: 2.4 mg weekly This is the schedule your assessment suggests — not a prescription. Your &you doctor reviews it before anything is dispensed, and adjusts the dose and the pace to how your body responds.

What to expect

Imagine a few weeks from now: the cravings that used to run your day have faded into the background. Many patients notice their appetite quieting within the first 2 to 4 weeks. In clinical trials of semaglutide (the active ingredient in Ozempic®) for weight management, people lost up to around 15% of their body weight on average over about 68 weeks alongside diet and exercise. Real weight loss typically follows between weeks 8 and 12, and because you build up gradually, it's progress your body can actually hold onto, not another cycle you'll lose next month. Results vary from person to person, and your doctor tracks yours and adjusts as you go.

What is included

Your Semaglutide kit comes with everything you need: - Your personalized treatment (as prescribed by your doctor) - Syringes - Alcohol pads - Thermal bag - Ice pack for safe delivery. It also includes free 24/7 provider messaging, formula adjustments, and regular check-ins to keep your treatment on track. And of course a thorough instruction manual so you can start confidently and follow each step with ease.

When to stop and seek help

Some people don't feel anything, others feel it briefly: nausea, diarrhea, constipation, or stomach discomfort. These are usually mild to moderate and tend to fade as your body adjusts, which is exactly why your dose goes up slowly instead of all at once. And you're never left to figure it out alone. If anything feels off, your &you doctor is a message away, consultations included.
