Storing it
Keep it in the fridge at 2–8°C until you start using it. Do not freeze it — a pen or vial that has frozen must be thrown away. Keep away from light and out of reach of children. Once you have started a pen or vial, check its label for how long it may stay at room temperature, and do not use it beyond that. Do not use it if the liquid is cloudy, coloured or has particles in it.

Before you start

Common side effects
The most common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, and stomach pain. These are usually temporary and improve as your body adjusts to the medication. If these symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Stop and get help if
  • Thyroid tumors: Symptoms may include a lump in the neck, trouble swallowing, or persistent hoarseness.
  • Pancreatitis: Severe abdominal pain, with or without vomiting, may indicate inflammation of the pancreas.
  • Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia): Watch for symptoms like shakiness, confusion, or excessive sweating, especially if you are on other diabetes medications.
  • Kidney problems: Persistent nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea may lead to dehydration and kidney damage.
  • Severe allergic reactions: Swelling, breathing difficulties, or rash require immediate medical attention.
Not for you if
  • Have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC).
  • Have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2).
  • Are allergic to semaglutide or any of its ingredients.

What it is

Compounded semaglutide is a GLP-1 treatment made with the same active ingredient as Ozempic® and Wegovy®, compounded here in the Philippines by a licensed partner pharmacy, at a fraction of the branded price. Hunger isn't a character flaw, it's chemistry. Semaglutide targets the GLP-1 signal your body uses to feel full, so the pull toward food eases. And because it's compounded, your dose is personalized to you, guided by a licensed Filipino doctor. Semaglutide mimics a natural hormone that tells your brain you’re full. It helps reduce cravings, slows digestion, and lowers blood sugar — making it (a lot) easier to eat less and lose weight, without extreme diets.

How to take it

Inject your dose once a week, on the same day each week, under the skin of your stomach, thigh or upper arm. Use the syringes in your box and change the injection site each week. You start at 0.1 mg a week. Each month your doctor reviews how you are doing and may step your dose up, one step a month: 0.1 mg, 0.2 mg, 0.3 mg, 0.4 mg. 0.4 mg is the highest Microdose dose. If your doctor recommends more, they move you to compounded semaglutide starter with your agreement. Only take the dose your doctor has prescribed. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can within 5 days; if more than 5 days have passed, skip it and take the next one on your usual day. Don't take two doses in one week.

The schedule

Once a week; dose stepped monthly 0.1→0.4 mg

What to expect

Some patients report reduced appetite and early weight loss within the first 2 to 4 weeks. More significant results typically appear by 8 to 12 weeks.

When to stop and seek help

Some people don't feel anything, others feel it briefly: nausea, diarrhea, constipation, or stomach discomfort. These are usually mild to moderate and tend to fade as your body adjusts, which is exactly why your dose goes up slowly instead of all at once. And you're never left to figure it out alone. If anything feels off, your &you doctor is a message away, consultations included. At Microdose doses, side effects are usually milder and less frequent, but they can still happen. Tell your doctor if they don't settle.

When it is not for you

You should not use Compounded Semaglutide if you: - Have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC). - Have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). - Are allergic to semaglutide or any of its ingredients. Consult your doctor if you are unsure about your medical history or current health conditions.

The small print

A mandatory doctor consultation is required before starting treatment, and the cost will be added to your cart. During the consultation, you will receive training from our doctor and detailed usage information to ensure you can safely prepare your dose for self-administration. Our weight loss medications are intended for patients with a BMI ≥30 kg/m² or ≥27 with at least one weight-related comorbidity. Patients with type 1 diabetes are not eligible for treatment. You may use our BMI calculator to check your eligibility or consult our doctors to determine suitability for treatment. Please note that the vial is intentionally not full, but contains the exact amount personally prescribed by our doctors for each patient. Compounded semaglutide is not FDA-approved. The FDA does not evaluate compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality. Ozempic® (semaglutide) is not compounded. Ozempic® is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes but may be prescribed off-label for weight loss at a provider’s discretion.
